Garrett Perchetti was born In Bishop, CA and raised In Nevada.  He studied at Harvard University and University of Washington, receiving a BA from the School of Art + Art History + Design and a BS from the School of Medicine. While In Seattle, Perchetti worked in virology as a research scientist for UW Medicine before moving to New York for his clinical clerkships.  

Most of Perchetti's art has scientific elements like organic chemistry notes, electron orbitals, or molecular reactions. His most recent series was created using old medical school notes with watercolors, inks, and fluorescent pigments. His work is currently on display at the Astra Hotel in South Lake Union, Seattle WA and has previously been on display in Seattle at the Thompson Hotel downtown, Solo In Queen Anne, and Taproot In Columbia City.
